SWAPtools: R-package for SWAP

Preface

SWAPtools (version 2.0.9) is an R package (R-Core-Team 2026) developed to manage SWAP (Kroes et al. 2017) model inputs via Excel, visualize model outputs, and generate meteorological for use in SWAP. It primarily depends on the packages listed in Table 1. Instructions for installing R, along with the required additional software and packages, are provided in Appendix A — Installation of R.
